Today is Halloween and my kids have a Carnival at school. (They are always doing such fun stuff. When do they go to class?) I signed up to make a treat for the kids, so yesterday I made Martha's
Candy-Corn Sugar Cookies. I'm not a big fan of candy corn, but the recipe is simple and the cookies look really colorful and cute.
The recipe is simple: take a basic sugar cookie. Bake it. Immediately upon taking it out of the oven, smack a candy corn right in the middle. Let cool and serve to all your goblins and goblin-ettes.
I sent these to school in a little box, just big enough to fit into a backpack...and be hand-delivered by a three-year old.
