Day Ninety: Hang It All

My son is moving into a new room.  Said room has a decent closet, although some most of it is being used by his mother (me) for various other storage.  (My wedding veil and 10x20 foot American flag needs to be stored somewhere, people.)

Even with the shortage of closet space, he will still have plenty of room to put his hanging clothes.  There's just one issue:  the rod.

Closet in question:

Since his father is not an NBA player and he is not freakishly tall for a five-year old,  he needs a rod that he can actually reach.  In an enlightening article about organizing ideas for Kids' Closets, Martha suggests installing a second rod that hangs from the existing higher rod.  She made hers  :showoff:  but I found one at the Container Store.  :whoyoucallinglazy:

Best $9.99 I ever spent.

All the winter stuff is at the top and the summer stuff is down below where he can reach it.

:insert cheering crowd:

All in a days work, people.
